Great post. I´ve been reading your blog for a few weeks, I met you at EPT SanRemo, early this year, had on dinner break at your table, saw you folding AQs to a raise of a solid player, you was one of the players that took my attention at the late stages of that mtt. Keep up the good job.

It is really nice to read your words, Liz. It is not only thankfulness what I feel, but a deep Peace. And quite as I wrote it: with capital letter.

I'm really glad to have read your post on thanksgiving day!

Happy Thanksgiving Doc!

Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend... when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present -- love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure -- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth.

Thank you for the kind wishes Victor! :)

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Liz, my friend ...

... the first thing I must say, after reading your post, is that it is a pity that this feast isn't celebrated in Spain. It has been quite nice to read all these words. And even, in spite of downs, there is one big thing out of what you've written: being grateful for life itself. I find concretely nice, the calm tone with which you write.

May this day (and not only this one) be full of that feeling of essence of life :)
